As required by the State, with Ohio Revised Code 5715.24, the year 2023 is a Property Reappraisal Year for Harrison County.  This process is almost complete, and your new tentative value is established.  Please visit the NEW VALUES page to view your updated property value.

If you are satisfied with your tentative value, there is nothing more you need to do.          
  If you believe the tentative value is not what you could have sold your property for on January 1, 2023, please attend one of our Informal Meetings for more information. They will be held:
September 27 @ the Harrison County Auditor's Office 8:30am until 4:30pm
October 5 @  Scio Branch Library (formerly Hugo's Restaurant) 5:00pm until 7:00 pm
October 11 @ the Harrison County Auditor's Office 8:30am until 4:30pm
October 17 @ Puskarich Public Library 5:00pm until 7:00pm

New Conveyance and Preapproval Process

Effective October 1, 2022, the Harrison County Auditor and the Harrison County Engineer 

will adopt new minimum requirements for all Instruments of Conveyance 

and a new Harrison County Preapproval Process.
