MARRIAGE LICENSE -  FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF EVERYONE, MARRIAGE LICENSE ARE BEING DONE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  PLEASE CONTACT PROBATE COURT AT  (740) 942-8868.  IN ORDER TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPLICATION IN ADVANCE BY CLICKING ON THE LINK BELOW.  MARRIAGE APPLICATIONS ARE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, AND VALID FOR 60 DAYS.  

REQUIREMENTS FOR MARRIAGE LICENSE: 

  • One party must be a resident of Harrison County, Ohio  (Out of State residents may apply, if getting married in Harrison County)
  • Confirmation Number from the on-line application (link below)
  • Copy of Divorce Decree (If previously married)
  • Copy of Death Certificate (If Widowed)
  • Current Drivers License
  • $42.00, Cash or Credit/Debit
  • Schedule an appointment!
