Oats and hay, corn, soybeans, and wheat are the predominant cash crops produced in Harrison County. In the past few years, some growers of organic produce have developed throughout the county. Another recent development is grape production. One winery recently opened in the eastern part of the county, and two others are in the early stages of grape production, with plans to commence winery operations in the near future.
