Sgt. William Case Jr

Sgt Case was on a 5hr solo flight and called the tower at 11:10 P.M. to have the field ready, but he never arrived.  His plane was found 5 miles from the airfield, upside down in swampy bush covered ground.  Sgt. Case was strapped in and had died as a result of crash landing at a high rate of speed over 80 mph.
