Tuberculosis (TB) Testing

Services are provided by appointment and walk-ins will be accommodated as the schedule permits.  To schedule an appointment please call (740) 942-2616

A routine TB skin test requires two visits, the first visit to place the test and the second visit, 48 - 72 hours later, to read the test.

For some professionals, a two-step TB testing process is required for employment. This will require four visits and the placement of two TB skin tests and two readings.  These tests must be completed within a 21-day period and separated by at least seven days.

TB tests are available by appointment Monday & Tuesday

You must be available to have your TB test read within 48–72 hours after it has been placed or it will have to be repeated, at an additional cost.

The fee for each test is $10.00.

Tuberculosis (TB) screening and follow-up is a program of communicable disease control because of the infectious nature of the disease.  Education is an important component in the investigation and follow-up after a diagnosis of TB has been made.
